The city of Balneário Camboriú (SC) will gain a 'NASA park' called Space adventure with real items from the United States space agency and immersive experiences later this year. The company behind the park plans to hold a grand opening event with a special appearance by a real astronaut. Check out everything we already know: u6h2c

But after all, is the park really owned by NASA? 4jf4r
Despite being nicknamed 'NASA Park', it is not actually owned by the United States space agency. The park was created by Oceanic Group, a company that already has several theme parks in Balneário Camboriú, such as Oceanic Aquarium, Classic Car Show, Pirate Adventure, Cinema 3D, Interactive Virtual Aquarium e Jurassic Adventure. Furthermore, the group also has a space-themed park in Canela (RS) called Space adventure, which has not yet opened.
According to the group, the new park received an investment of approximately R$30 million, and the collection was purchased directly from NASA and will be brought to Brazil in partnership with Blast Entertainment and DC Set Group. It was also confirmed that a team from the agency will travel to the attraction location to arrange the items correctly, where they will be preserved and can be visited.

Curation and confirmed experiences 6f6dp
Little has been revealed about the park's curation so far, but the Oceanic Group stated that the park will have the largest collection of pieces from NASA outside the United States. They also announced that the space will feature more than 300 original items, including a 40-meter replica of the Saturn V (rocket that took man to the moon), pieces of rockets, clothes and accessories used in space missions.
In addition to the items from NASA, the space of more than 4,5 m² — built next to Balneário Shopping — will have immersive experiences, interactive screens and an area about the future of space with items from the project that will take man to Mars.
“It will have the full launch effect. There will be the official countdown of the Apollo 11 mission (space flight responsible for the first landing on the Moon), and at the end of the countdown, a smoke and sound effect, as if the rocket was taking off.”
Rodrigo Prado, CEO of Space Adventure, in an interview with G1.

When does the park open? 184f5a
O Space adventure will open on March 13th and the company has big plans for the event. What has already been confirmed is the astronaut's participation Charles Duke, who is part of the select group of 12 people who had the opportunity to set foot on the Moon — on a mission in 1972, when he was just 36 years old, which earned him the title of youngest person to set foot on lunar territory.
