TP-Link Deco X50 brings a number of great features such as s, access to VPNs, in addition to having excellent coverage with Wi-Fi 6

Wi-FI is now one of the most important technologies we have access to today. It allows us to connect a multitude of products to the internet in a satisfactory way, not to mention the possibility of controlling the many smart home appliances. Because of this, an excellent choice is the mesh router. TP Link Deco X50, which has technologies that will make your life much easier. 3z5gg

Design 145g70

O TP Link Deco X50 really deserves the “Deco” it has in its name, as it could very well be mistaken for a decoration piece. Its format is cylindrical and has a little more than 11 centimeters in height. Anyone who doesn't know the product will even be able to get an idea of everything that this little remarkable can do.

Its elegant appearance can make it a decorative piece for your environment. (Image: TP-Link)

Each of the devices that make up the kit has 3 inputs for network cables, and it is possible to use any of them to connect it to the internet modem. In the package we received all the necessary cables to make the installation, and doing it is quite easy.

Any of the ethernet ports can be used to connect to the modem (Image: TP-Link)

Configuration and Interface 4a5y32

This is one of the easiest steps to take. First of all, the first thing to do is unplug the modem. This is necessary for us to be able to make the configuration in a satisfactory way. Then just put the network cable in any of the available inputs, and only then is it time to turn on the deco X50 to the modem. Now all you have to do is go to the Deco application, which is available to both s Android as iOS, and do the rest of the settings.

The application's main interface shows us how many devices are currently connected and if there are guests on the network. (Image: Ailton Bueno/Showmetech)

The application is very functional and clean, bringing all the information in simple ways, dispensing with any kind of prior knowledge. This means that it will not be necessary to call that nephew to install the deco X50 since it is only necessary to follow the information that will be presented on the screen.

Mesh function and other features r5q4q

But after all, what is a Mesh router? Basically, it's a kind of router system where Wi-Fi is made up of a distributed network of access points. This is perfect in situations where we need to have a large network coverage and the guarantee that the signal will arrive with quality in all the places to be covered. In addition, this model from TP-Link offers Artificial Intelligence technology that helps to distribute the signal efficiently.

And in that regard, I can say that the TP Link Deco X50 gives a real show of quality. At the back of my house there is a wall over 10 meters high and we always had problems getting the signal to arrive with quality in that area, which was only remedied after its installation, I will talk more about the signal in the next section .

If you are a parent, you can create a profile for your child and lock down the type of content he or she will have access to. The application itself gives a good list that brings topics like adult content, social networks and others. Ideal to guarantee your infant's safety and well-being.

Another very cool function is the ability to create networks for visitors very easily and quickly. We can define whether this network will be active all the time or just for a period of time, depending on your needs. It is still possible if this network will access the channel with 2.4GHz (slower) or 5GHz (faster), and also define a bandwidth.

If your home is already ready for the IoT, or internet of things, it is possible to create an exclusive network to control these devices. Then just plug your lights, security cameras and everything else into that network.

It is possible to define the duration time and the speed that the visitors will have. (Image: Ailton Bueno/Showmetech)

Finally, still in the application, it is possible to define which devices will receive priority when connecting, which will guarantee better signal quality. If you also use it, you can add a VPN server, making it possible to access the internet securely, or a VPN client, eliminating the need to install each device.

Performance 58a2u

O TP Link Deco X50 brings high-speed Wi-Fi 6, with the possibility of carrying up to 3.0 Gbps, that is, up to 2402 Mbps when using the 5 GHz network and up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 Ghz network. According to the manual, two Deco X50 devices can guarantee coverage of up to 420 square meters.

With regard to the sign of TP Link Deco X50 I can only say that my house was completely covered. As mentioned in the other section, whenever we tried to use any device near the wall, the signal dropped dramatically, making it practically impossible to browse the internet. However, this was remedied quite satisfactorily when installing the device, which made the signal go to the maximum.

Both and speeds were quite satisfactory. (Image: Ailton Bueno/Showmetech)

Whether watching a football match via streaming, or some other activity like that, everything was working perfectly. But what surprised me the most was the online play on the Xbox Series X. Where my device is located, there is a little interference, and the signal from my old router didn't work very well, but thanks to TP Link Deco X50 via Wi-Fi without lags or problems. Which to me makes all the difference.

One thing I wanted to know was how far the signal would reach, so I went to a friend's house and the signal was excellent. Even if there was a house in the middle of separation, or about 30 meters away (in a straight line) and at least 6 walls in between. In short, the coverage was excellent, both at my house and for the neighbors, in case they need it one day.

Completion and availability 4z442k

Without a doubt, TP Link Deco X50 can be a big difference when it comes to having quality access to the internet. With its Mesh function we can guarantee full coverage of the place where we need the internet to work, and it is possible to add other devices to increase coverage even further, without the need to make fancy configurations.

Whatever your home or business, the TP Link Deco X50 It is an excellent choice, as in addition to performing its role very well, it can also be used as a decorative piece.

O TP Link Deco X50 can be purchased at Magazine Luiza's Showmetech store in cash for BRL 1.441,41 or in up to 10 interest-free installments of BRL 154,99, totaling BRL 1.549,90.
