A Netflix officially announced the end of the Punisher and Jessica Jones series. They were the last series in the universe Marvel who were still active in the streaming. The second (and final) season of Punisher was released at the end of January. Jessica Jones will say goodbye with the release of its third season, still without a premiere date.
Fans of the series based on Marvel characters were already preparing to say goodbye. Disney announced in early 2018 who were preparing their own streaming service, the Disney +, and the company owns the rights to the characters from Marvel (Besides the Pixar and or Star Wars universe).
Netflix produced five series based on the stories of Marvel characters, demolisher, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron fist, Punisher e Defenders.
The actor Jon Bernthal, who played Frank Castle, said goodbye to fans on his Instagram profile. “To all those who served. For all those who know the pain of loss. For all those who love and understand Frank and his pain. It has been an honor to play him.”.

Cancellations started in October 2018 with Iron fistFollowed by Luke Cage, and in November the end of Daredevil was announced.

There is a possibility of Disney or the Hulu produce new series with these characters, but unfortunately not with the same actors. THE Disney + will be released later this year.
