More than a replacement for the touch of hands, the S Pen was introduced by Samsung to enhance the Note line experience – and now, in Galaxy Tab S3, the device underwent improvements and gained notable evolution. In its new update, the S Pen has gained intuitive resources and of great use. Here's how to get the most out of all the pen's functions.

The floating menu, unique to the pen, appears as soon as it is taken out of its compartment or ed over the screen. When not in use, it is hidden. This menu does not work with the touch of the fingers, only using the S Pen, and is completely customizable.
It is also in this menu that all the device functions are found, which are described below.

This function makes the exchange of messages more fun: you can desenhar in the photo, create a GIF with a drawing being traced or even writing a message instead of typing. It is possible, for example, to animate the written message and share it on a social network or messaging application.

Use the S Pen too to give zoom meeting in an area of the screen. Just choose the option and select the part you want to see more closely, pulling from one corner to another. It is also possible to use a magnifying glass, choosing from the available sizes, and dragging the pen to zoom up to 300% of what is being viewed.

It is easier to do this with the new diameter of the pen, which now has 0,7 mm.
The strokes are more precise and the pen identifies the pressure exerted on the screen to simulate real strokes and darker or lighter colors. You can choose to just fill in the spaces with color instead of doodling.
