The 2022 Elections will take place over two weekends in October, as follows: 

• October 2 the 1st shift; 
• October 30 the 2nd shift, if any.  

Therefore, during these two days, from 8 am to 17 pm, the electoral colleges will receive voters for voting. It is important to pay attention to the time, as voting is not allowed before the opening or after the closing of polling places.

Another important point is to always check the time adopted in your city, according to the official time zone. The rule is that the official period of 2022 Elections will be compatible with the official time of Brasilia, stipulated by the TSE.

3. After filling in the mandatory fields, the system will show you if you are in a regular or irregular situation. 

In the event of an irregular situation, the website itself will inform you why the vote is prevented, and how to regularize it for the next election. If there is any irregularity with your title, unfortunately it will not be possible to vote in the 2022 Elections, as the deadline for regularizing the electoral situation for this election ended on May 4th.

Another important information is that, even without the biometric registration, you can vote. Due to the effects of the pandemic of Covid-19, TSE has not yet returned to ing new biometrics, and for the time being, this measure is suspended.

• CNH (National Driver's License);
• Military Reservist; 
• Professional card, provided that recognized by law (OAB, for example); 
• The Voter Title with biometric registration and photo.

The electoral innovation was the creation of the vote in transit in 2021. The new modality is an attempt to reduce the voter abstention rate, especially after the 2020 Elections.

Voting in transit is a form of remote voting, allowing even those who are traveling or who have not been able to transfer their electoral domicile to not lose another election. However, to be eligible for the modality, it was necessary to apply in person at the nearest electoral registry, until August 18th. 

If your registration has been approved in transit voting, just consult the official list of electoral colleges that accept voting in transit. on the day of Elections 2022, show up with your photo ID and voter registration card, and you will be able to vote.

One of the alternatives for those who were unable to vote in transit, or had to travel after the application deadline, is the justification of electoral absence. The request can be made either through the website of the TSE how much for the app e-Title, available in Android ou iOS. 

Before starting the step-by-step, it is important to check some information to justify:

• It is not possible to justify the two shifts in the same application, and one request per shift must be made;
• After the turn, the voter will have 60 days to make his justification, under penalty of fine;

To justify via the website: 

1. Open the website TSE; 
2. Look for the option “Start request for justification”;

4. After that, inform why you did not attend the elections; 
5. In addition to writing, you must attach a photo of a “pdf”, “png” or “jpg” file; 
6. With everything filled in and the files attached, press the “Send” button. At the end, the protocol number will be sent to the email, which serves to the progress of the justification. 

The justification by the application e-Title is very similar, but even easier: 

1. Open the application on your mobile; 
2. On the home screen, near the bottom right, select the “More options” option;
3. Choose the option “Excuse of absence”; 
4. Fill in the mandatory fields with your personal data such as name, document, date of birth, etc.; 
5. As in the justification on the website, in the e-Title it is mandatory to attach documents proving the reason for the absence;
6. Unlike the website, in the application you can follow the application in the option of “My requirements”, and also see the protocol number.

Finally, there is still the option to justify voting in the electoral college. Although it is not as easy as in distance modalities, justification in the electoral college is an option for those who want to justify, but still, yes, vote.

To justify in person: 

1. You will need your voter registration card and a photo ID;
2. Attend an electoral college on election day between 8 am and 17 pm; 
3. Ask the justification section for the vote application form;

Without the justification for voting, the voter can be fined and having their electoral registration become irregular. The penalty of fine for unexcused absence is R$3,51 per turn, and the regularization of the title depends on the reason and the penalty applied, with the voter having to appear in his electoral zone in the year following the elections.

• A state deputy, with five numbers; 
• One federal deputy, with four numbers; 
• A senator, with three numbers; 
• A governor, with two numbers; 
• A president, with two numbers.

• Visit the official 2022 application consultation website;
• Press the lower option on the screen, where the query by region is;
