While a single film cannot claim all the glory of a comic book publisher, Wonder Woman, aims to do the best job possible, clearly restoring a very sharp narrative and, most importantly, turning audiences back to a great work of cinema.
Directed by Patty Jenkins, the film tells an entirely original and above all direct story of the epic Wonder Woman. While this story is somewhat predictable in its main structure, the film also provides the kind of satisfying narrative in addition to the most current technological resources, giving a bath of effects to those who watch it.
Played as a major flashback in which we first meet Diana, still characterized as a small girl (Lilly Aspell) on the island of Themyscira, a female population known as the Amazon lives in secret from the rest of the world. We can say here that this is a very quality narration from DC, when compared to previously released films.
Though her mother, Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen) forbids it, Diana ardently desires to train with her aunt Antiope (Robin Wright), who leads the warriors charged with protecting Themyscira from all outside invaders.
Rescued by an adult Diana (Gal Gadot), Steve Trevor, an American spy who fell from a plane while escaping the First World War, describes the terrible forces unleashed and warns that they will come to Themyscira eventually. Her prediction is all too true, leading Diana to make a decision that will change her life and her destiny.

Many say that Gal Gadot is not a great actress, or not yet, but she brings with her sincerity and heart, which makes her character so special and true. In this film Wonder Woman presents us with excellent action sequences, showing a great physical shape and the feeling that this is indeed the best wonder woman ever.
