Here's good news for model owners Xperia M2 da Sony. The Company decided to update this intermediate device to the version 4.4.4 (Kitkat) of the system Android.
The update has already been released for the models D2303 and D2306 LTE do Sony Xperia M2 and, in addition to bringing improvements to the system Android, it fixes the audio delay issue that affected the use of many of the apps installed on the M2.
To update your device, look for the option “System update” inside the menu. In general, browse by: Settings>Software>System Update.
If the update has not yet been released via OTA for your model, simply the FTF file and install via PC using Sony tool.
In the author's opinion, the interface improvements are minimal. But, analyzing the software, there are big changes related to the security of data and the performance of the device.

A Sony did not disclose whether it will continue to update the device to the next versions, including the latest (Android Lollipop 5.0). Still, it is noted that the company is increasingly interested in these updates.
